The 6th Annual Friends of the MUHC Toonie Challenge came to a close at the end of May 2018, raising an astounding $15,260 for the Montreal Children’s Hospital. Over 300 students from 15 schools participated in the Challenge, fundraising through school initiatives of their own choosing. Together, they collected enough Toonies to purchase 3 much-needed Kangaroo Enteral Food Pumps to feed sick children at the Hospital.
Since its inception in 2012, The Friends of the MUHC Toonie Challenge has raised over $71,600. This is fundraising at its finest, all done by kids who want to make a difference in their community.

This is not another dinner dance. This is not a silent auction. This is not a fashion show. This doesn’t require a tuxedo, new dress, false eyelashes, fancy hairdo or new shoes. This is whatever you’d like it to be! All we ask is that you invite some friends… and have a ball!
Over 2 years, we were able to raise more than 25 000$, all of which goes back to patient care.
It’s a great way to see your friends and do some good for the community at the same time. Let’s keep the ball rolling…
Need a new bike, or have one to sell or swap?
CycleSwap is a unique fundraising event which happens every year during spring.
Organized by the Friends of the MUHC and Cycle Neron, you can buy, sell, and recycle your bicycles.
Proceeds from the sale of all bikes will go towards purchasing new equipment for Hospitals.
