On November 15th, 2017, The Friends of the MUHC launched the 6th Annual Toonie Challenge at Lower Canada College. Over 300 students from 15 schools attended the launch and are set to fund-raise through fun school initiatives. Together, they are collecting Toonies for much-needed Kangaroo Pumps (which the students voted for themselves) for patients at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. Last year, 12 schools raised over $8000.00 for a baby scale with trolley for complex care! Let’s see if we can beat that! Ready-Set-Go…Start raising those Toonies!! The deadline is May 31st, 2018!
If you would like your school to participate in the Toonie Challenge, please contact us!
This is not another dinner dance. This is not a silent auction. This is not a fashion show. This doesn’t require a tuxedo, new dress, false eyelashes, fancy hairdo or new shoes. This is whatever you’d like it to be! All we ask is that you invite some friends… and have a ball!
Over 2 years, we were able to raise more than 25 000$, all of which goes back to patient care.
It’s a great way to see your friends and do some good for the community at the same time. Let’s keep the ball rolling…
Need a new bike, or have one to sell or swap?
CycleSwap is a unique fundraising event which happens every year during spring.
Organized by the Friends of the MUHC and Cycle Neron, you can buy, sell, and recycle your bicycles.
Proceeds from the sale of all bikes will go towards purchasing new equipment for Hospitals.
Over the past 2 years, more than 150 bikes were sold to help this mission!
